  • 3/1 Food, Health, & Our Community.

How does food insecurity shape health outcomes, and what can future healthcare professionals do about it?

Food, Health, & Our Community, hosted by UAID, is a workshop designed to educate students, especially those pursuing careers in healthcare, on the links between food insecurity and disease. By bridging gaps, this event challenges participants to go beyond immediate symptoms and consider the systemic drivers of poor health outcomes.

Attendees will gain tools to recognize signs of food insecurity, learn how to connect peers with essential resources, and explore how service-oriented advocacy can become part of their future professionally. Join us March 1st from 6-7 pm in SU 410 to create a network committed to addressing health disparities both on campus and across the Northeast.
