The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) is excited to announce our Student Commencement National Anthem Singer Competition for the CLAS undergraduate commencement ceremonies. Graduating students will be selected to sing the national anthem at one of the three commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
Students who are interested should submit an audio recording of themselves singing the national anthem to clas_commencement@uconn.edu, making sure to include their full names, Peoplesoft numbers, and majors. Submissions will be accepted until Monday, March 23, 2026.
Finalists will be asked to audition in person. Please indicate if you have any seniors in your group from CLAS who are graduating this spring.
