Calling all LGBTQ+ writers! The Writing Center has partnered with the Rainbow Center to hold a Queer Writing Night. The event will take place at the Storrs Writing Center on Thursday, February 26th, from 8:00-10:00 pm. Writers can bring in prewritten poetry, short fiction, or creative nonfiction pieces or free write new pieces. There will also be materials for black out poetry provided, but we encourage everyone to write in the direction they feel inspired by. Writing Center tutors will be available to have pieces workshopped. Feel free to stay for the whole time or just stop by. The Writing Center is located on the 2nd Floor of Homer Babbidge Library. No appointments are necessary to attend this event.
