All UConn students can participate in the Department of Animal Science Horse Riding Practicum on the Storrs campus. The Practicum is a professional improvement, non-credit program. It is designed to provide practical experience in the handling, riding, and care of horses for those majors who may have careers directly or indirectly associated with the horse world.
A mandatory Practicum meeting will be held on Thursday, January 22 at 7 PM in the Young Building Room 100 (Storrs Campus). All students interested in taking the Practicum lessons must attend.
Sign-ups will be on Monday, January 26th and Tuesday, January 27th from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Alena Meacham’s office in the UConn Lesson Horse Barn.
