We are currently seeking vendors for UConn's Sexpert Peer Health Educators’ 5th Annual Sexual Health & Wellness Fair, taking place on Monday, April 13th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on the UConn Storrs campus!
The Sexperts are a peer education program affiliated with UConn Student Health & Wellness (SHaW) and are committed to creating spaces where students can engage in open, honest conversations about sexual health/well-being and relationships. Through education, peer-led discussions, and community partnerships, we aim to help students feel informed, supported, and empowered to make decisions that align with their values and identities.
Our annual Sexual Health & Wellness Fair is one of the many ways we bring this mission to life. The fair is a large-scale, tabling event that brings together campus and community organizations offering inclusive, affirming resources related to sexual health, reproductive rights, gender and sexuality, healthy relationships, and harm reduction. Each year, hundreds of UConn students attend the fair, seeking information and supportive conversations in a welcoming, sex-positive, and trauma-informed environment.
Examples of groups that have participated in past years include:
- Local and regional health departments and clinics
- Sex education, advocacy, and sexual assault prevention organizations
- Academic programs focused on sexual health, human sexuality, and public health
- Pharmaceutical fraternities and campus-based student organizations
- Sexual wellness/pleasure companies and safer-sex product providers
- LGBTQ+-focused organizations and student-serving nonprofits
- Organizations focused on education around diverse relationship structures and sexual practices, with an emphasis on consent and safety
We would love for your organization to be part of this year’s fair and to help us connect students with the resources and expertise you offer. If you are interested in tabling, please complete the RSVP form by this Friday, February 27th! Our team will follow up with additional details, including event logistics, travel, and parking information.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration. We truly value the opportunity to collaborate with organizations doing meaningful work and hope to connect with you soon!
