    Participants Wanted for a Research Study

     

    This research is being done to evaluate a new way of training a person to locate where sounds are coming from while wearing hearing protection.

     

    To qualify for participation, you must be 18 years of age or older and have near-normal or normal hearing and vision (glasses/contacts okay).

     

    This study will be conducted in the Phillips Communication Sciences Building, Rooms 144 and 227A, and in an outdoor location on Depot campus (~3 miles away, 44 Weaver Rd., Storrs Mansfield, CT 06268).  

     

    Participation will require about 20 hours of your time, spread over up to 15 visits.  You will receive a free hearing test and will be compensated $15 per visit.
