UConn’s Office of Global Affairs invites graduate students to apply for the Universitas21 School for Sustainable Policy Leadership at McMaster University. The program aims to provide graduate students with the skills and experience to develop and implement impactful sustainability policies, equipping them with critical skills in policy analysis, development, and implementation. Students will gain hands-on experience and practical insights into global sustainability challenges and solutions through workshops, field visits, case study analysis, and collaboration with graduate students from throughout the global network. Students have the option to earn the Youth Can Sustain Certificate through the program.

- Location: McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
- Program Cost: Free (student responsible for travel, accommodation, and meals)
- Eligibility: graduate students
UConn is allotted two nomination slots for the program. To apply for nomination, submit this application form no later than Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
