Early Childhood Educators and Children with Hearing Loss - Recruiting Survey Participants
You are invited to participate in a research study of early childhood educators. We’re conducting a study to learn more about the experience of early childhood educators in Connecticut working with children with hearing loss. With advances in newborn hearing screening and available interventions for hearing loss, there are more children with hearing differences attending mainstream preschool. We are interested in learning more about the preparation of early childhood educators for working with these students to inform future advocacy and collaboration between audiologists and early childhood educators.
Participants will fill out a survey asking questions about their general experiences working with children with a hearing disability and hearing loss. This is an anonymous survey with only general demographic information collected.
Participants must have worked in early childhood care within the last year and be 18 years of age or older. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes.
