Applications are now open for the 2026-27 academic year housing at Spring Valley Student Farm!
Spring Valley Student Farm is UConn’s student-led vegetable farm, growing produce for Dining Services in a beautiful valley 5 miles from the Storrs campus. Student farmers live in community, learn to grow food sustainably, and build meaningful relationships with the land and each other.
Student farmers received reduced-cost housing in exchange for 10 hours per week of work on the farm. We are an educational farm, so no prior farm experience or academic background in farming is required! Positions are open to full-time UConn undergraduate students of all majors.
