This semester, UConn students have the opportunity to participate in a community outreach program focused on supporting children in local after-school programs.
Through PHLAME, students work alongside UConn medical students to educate kids using engaging presentations and interactive activities centered on healthy habits and overall wellness. The program creates a fun, welcoming environment where children can learn while also feeling encouraged and supported.
This is a meaningful way to give back to the community, gain hands-on outreach experience, and make a positive impact beyond campus.
