Join Cranes4Kids!
In Japanese tradition, folding 1,000 paper cranes is said to grant a wish. Inspired by the story Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes, our mission is to fold paper cranes to donate to children's hospitals for the purpose of raising rare disease awareness.
Whether you enjoy hands-on volunteering, arts & crafts, or making an impact, you should join Cranes4Kids.
We will:
- Fold paper cranes alongside fellow UConn students and contribute directly to donations sent to children’s hospitals monthly
- Support children and families affected by rare diseases through service
- Be part of a welcoming, low-pressure community
Everyone is welcome! Join us in helping make a child’s wish come true.
No origami experience/knowledge required :)
Meeting Time: Mondays, 6–7 PM (Location TBA)
Fill out this form if you are interested in joining!
