Neuropolicy = Neuroscience + Public Policy, where we ask how science-based evidence can inform policy. Treating neuroscience as a broad field in understanding how we think, decide, relate, and interact with ourselves and the world around us.
No prior experience is needed. Neuropolicy Club is a great fit for students of Psychology, Political Science, PNB, MCB, Public Policy, Social Work or related fields but we encourage students of all majors to join!
Prospective members can expect personalized mentoring, mock emergency scenario responses, and lively debates and discussions, alongside opportunities to learn about new and emerging areas in neuroscience. Meetings will also include short presentations and discussions on topics such as social media addiction, the reproducibility crisis, doomscrolling, and political polarization and threat cognition.
