  • 2/17 More Than Skin Deep Event

    Everyone is invited to a marvelous event brought to you by the African American Cultural Center and Residential Living and Education.
     
     More Than SKiN Deep (SKIN) is an immersive, multimedia experience designed to foster self-discovery, belonging, and deeper connections among students. Through storytelling, interactive dialogue, and reflective exercises, this program challenges individuals to look beyond labels and explore who they truly are beneath the surface. This two part series  starts on February 17th at 5:00 pm with a filming that students, staff, and faculty can choose participate. The second part is a presentation on February 19th at 6:30 pm featuring the video and interactive conversations. Please see the information below for more details:
     
     
    • SKIN Filming: February 17th, 2026 (Tuesday) in African American Cultural Center @5:00 pm
      • 2-hour video recording for SKIN montage
      • Media Release Forms for students
    • SKIN Event: February 19th, 2026 (Thursday) in Werth Tower Forum @ 6:30 pm. 
      • (1) 75-90 minute presentation with Q&A for CLIENT’s event
      • Giveaways - Posters, Journals
