Spring Valley Student Farm’s once-a-year SVSF Ice Cream Social is next week!
We are hosting an informal info session and ice cream social on Wednesday, January 28, from 6:30-7:30pm in the Werth Forum on the first floor of Werth Residence Tower. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about opportunities at the farm, meet the current farmers, and enjoy some ice cream together! We’ll go through some brief slides and discuss living at the farm, working at the farm over the summer, and internship options. We’ll include some icebreaker activities and then open up the ice cream. If you have applied or are considering applying for any of the open positions at the farm, this event is a great chance to introduce yourself to the current community and ask any questions you have. Our snow date is Tuesday, February 3.
And as a reminder, applications for Fall 2026 housing are due February 8, 2026. If you haven’t applied yet, now is the time!
