    • Visit us at the Spring Involvement Fair on February 4 from 1-6 pm inside Gampel Pavilion!

    • Green Careers Panel: learn more about careers in sustainability on February 2nd in McHugh 301! The event begins at 3 pm, and the panel of speakers is from 4:30-6:30 pm.

    • Recyclethon: compete against other residence halls to see who has the best recycling practices… for a prize! The event runs the entire month of February, starting on the 1st.

    Reason to Smile: Hooray! The Green Sea Turtle has officially been relisted from an Endangered Species to “Least Concern” by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). This is a reflection of tireless global efforts to reduce pollution and poaching while protecting the habitats and nesting grounds that these turtles call home.

     

    News: UConn has been named the 8th most sustainable university in the world by UIGreenMetric! UConn, along with 1744 other global universities in 105 countries, was assessed on 36 indicators spanning 6 criteria. Learn more here: https://greenmetric.ui.ac.id/about/welcome
