The Umbra Institute: Summer STEM in Italy with Experiential Global Learning
The Umbra Institute’s STEM program is offered in collaboration with the Departments of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry of the University of Perugia—a historic institution and a recognized international leader in academic research and sustainability.
Often called “the big university town in a medium-sized Italian city,” Perugia is the home of The Umbra Institute, an American study abroad program. Perugia is a beautiful hilltop city with two Italian universities and over 30,000 students, some of whom will study with you at Umbra.
Students can choose Summer Session 1 (dates: May 15 - June 20th) or Summer Session 2 (dates: June 26 - July 25th). Both sessions offer the option to take 1 class (3 credits) or 2 courses (6 credits).
