Compensation: Room & board + stipend
• New RCs: $5,460 (before taxes)
• Returning RCs: $5,760 (before taxes)
Program Overview:
UConn Pre-College Summer (PCS) offers rising high school students a safe, supportive, and immersive pre-college experience focused on academic exploration and residential living at a nationally ranked public university.
Position Summary:
The Residential Counselor for Welfare (RC) is a full-time, live-in role focused on crisis response, student well-being, and managing sensitive concerns including mental health, bullying, and behavioral challenges. RCs provide daily support to participants and staff, help manage emergencies, and contribute to a safe and healthy residential community.
