Hello all,
Thank you so much for your interest in Spring Valley Student Farm! We are excited to announce that we will be extending the deadline for applications for a resident position at the farm for the Spring 2026 Semester.
This is a great opportunity to grow, learn, and engage with organic farming practices while building community on and off the farm. Resident students work 10 hours a week at SVSF in exchange for reduced housing costs. We accept applicants from all majors, and no prior farm experience is required, just a willingness to learn.
The application form and in-depth information about the position can be found on the dining services website at: https://dining.uconn.edu/spring-valley-farm/housing/. Applications for this position are due 11/10/25 before 6 pm.
If you are interested in applying and have not visited the farm, we encourage you to reach out to our farm manager, Jess Larkin-Wells, to request a tour of the farm!
If you have any further questions about the position, please contact Jessica Larkin-Wells at: jessica.larkin-wells@uconn.edu
