  • Research Opportunity for Chinese Students

    Dear Friend,

We are a research team from UConn’s Department of Human Development and Family Sciences conducting a focused group study (IRB: H25-0337) exploring how Chinese international students experience cultural adjustment, identity development, and coping processes during their time in the U.S.

The study will be conducted in Mandarin and held in person at the UConn Storrs campus.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Complete a brief eligibility screener (5–10 minutes) to determine if you are eligible
    • Participate in a 60–90 minute in-person focus group discussion with 6–10 Chinese peers
    • Optionally complete an online post-study feedback survey (15 minutes) at a later time

You will receive $10 in compensation for your time and effort.

All personal information will be kept strictly confidential.
