     "From Joysticks to Incisions: The Robotic Revolution” takes audiences on an exhilarating journey through the evolution of surgery, from primitive trepanation in 6,500 B.C. to the cutting-edge era of robotic precision. Led by Dr. Sanjay S. Reddy, this talk blends history, innovation, and imagination, exploring how Leonardo da Vinci’s early anatomical sketches ultimately inspired the creation of the modern surgical robot. Dr. Reddy unpacks the benefits, pitfalls, and future of robotic surgery in oncology, including its role in pancreatic and colorectal disease, the economics of adoption, and the frontier of telesurgery, offering a thrilling look at how technology is reshaping the hands that heal.
