Apply to join a special Student Leader Delegation from UConn to travel to the Middle East from
January 1-10, 2026. Over the course of 10 days, you will meet with locals — Israelis and Palestinians; journalists, politicians, activists, and others — to gain a more meaningful understanding of the region and its people.
This journey is about humanity, shared stories, and understanding different perspectives. About 65% of the program focuses on exploring geopolitical realities, while the remaining 35% offers opportunities to visit holy sites, experience local culture, and reflect on the history and beauty of the region.
We’re looking for student leaders from a wide range of clubs and organizations on campus to help us build a strong, diverse group. Our hope is that participants will return inspired to foster dialogue, compassion, and connection among different communities on campus. ONLY cost to students is a $200 deposit which covers your airfare, lodging, land tour, and most meals.
If you're a student leader who has AT LEAST TWO MORE SEMESTERS left at UConn, please consider applying for this once-in-a-lifetime oppportunity.
Please apply at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1xQqq5UbpgJjAk4VOfgz9rOLM8EX76mibozh6xi7A5_0/ (please ignore the October 20th deadline). New deadline to apply is Wednesday, November 5th.
