We are more than half-way through the fall semester and write to remind you that when life gets hard, UConn has resources and people who care about you personally. Whether your concerns be a natural disaster occurring close to your home, academic concerns or you just need to talk through things, UConn has people ready to help.
Staff across our campuses are available to offer guidance and assistance - you just need to reach out. Below is a list of resources you can explore if you’re looking for support.
Dean of Students: DOSO staff see students on a drop-in basis, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 1:00pm-3pm, Thursdays from 9am-11:00am and on Wednesdays from 4pm-6pm in the Cultural Centers located in the Student Union. If drop-in hours don’t fit into your schedule, call 860-486-3426 to schedule an appointment.
Regional Campus Student Services Offices
· Avery Point Student Services Office, stop by the office which located in the Branford House on the 3rd floor or call 860-405-9024 to request an appointment.
· Hartford Student Services Office located in the Hartford Times Building, Level 1, Room 106, email hartford.studentservices@uconn.edu or call 959-200-3743 to connect with the Student Services team for assistance.
· Stamford Student Services Office, located in room 302, 1 University Place, students may reach out by phone 203-251-8484 or email stamfordstudentservices@uconn.edu. Appointments may be scheduled via Nexus.
· Waterbury Student Services Office, located in the Student Services Suite, 2nd Floor or email waterbury.studentservices@uconn.edu to connect with the Student Services team for assistance.
Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA): The Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) team supports graduate students and postdoctoral scholars navigate academic, personal and other concerns affecting their UConn experience. If you cannot find the staff member you are looking for, please feel free to send an email to gradschool@uconn.edu so we can get you connected with the right person

Student Health & Wellness Mental Health Services (SHaW), is available to provide support to students who may be struggling. There are several ways students can connect with SHaW:
- To make an appointment with SHaW-Mental Health call 860-486-4700,
