Ahout the Program:
VAW Global Health Alliances partners with local healthcare professionals in low and middle-income countries (LMICs) to provide primary medical clinics and community health support.
As a VAW Medical Intern, you'll:
- Work alongside local physicians, nurses, and pharmacists
- Learn about disease diagnosis, treatment, and clinic operations
- Gain experience in basic pharmacology
- Have time to explore a new country and culture
Commitment:
- Participate in pre-departure training and team meetings
- Attend a short 15-20 minute interview after applying
- Applications are first-come, first-served, so don't wait!
Trip Duration: 2 weeks (specific 2026 dates TBD)
Cost: $2,000 (includes housing, meals, transportation & fundraising opportunities)
