  • Call for Papers: Refusal(s) and Kurdish Literature

    Virtual Conference (May 21–22, 2026)

    We are now accepting submissions for the virtual conference Refusal(s) and Kurdish Literature, which will bring together scholars for new conversations on Kurdish literature and its study. The conference is co-sponsored by the UConn Humanities Institute, the Gladstein Family Human Rights Institute, and the Department of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages.

    The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2025. Full details are available in the Call for Papers, and submissions may be made through this form. Submissions from graduate and undergraduate students are welcome.
