Neuropolicy is an interdisciplinary club that explores how neuroscience interacts with public policy, ethics, and law. Our mission is to create an inclusive, curiosity-driven space where students from any background can build tangible skills in advocacy and legislative research, while exploring the brain's role in shaping the world around us. We meet every Monday from 7-8pm in Rowe 132 (or virtually at https://uconn-cmr.webex.com/meet/carina.adams-szabo).
This upcoming Monday, September 22, from 7-8pm, we will be hosting a meeting discussing the basics on legislation and how legislation is structured, what a legislative agenda looks like, and how policy briefs function as a tool for advocacy. This session will also include an interactive activity to practice identifying common ground in politics. We can't emphasize enough that you do not need any experience in neuroscience or political science, just bring your own thoughts and opinions! We hope to see you there!
Pizza will also be provided!
