Join us for the Emotionally Intelligent & Inclusive Leadership Day on Friday, October 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the first floor of the Student Union at UConn, Storrs. This event is open to all students and staff from all UConn campuses!
The event features a keynote address by Dr. Joshua Fredenburg, a nationally acclaimed speaker and author on leadership, and immersive workshops led by experienced students and staff. These sessions are designed to equip attendees with strategies and insights that can be applied to their personal and professional lives. The day concludes with a call-to-action by Dr. Fredenburg that inspires participants to become better versions of themselves through guided reflection, dialogue, and action. Whether individuals attend a single session or stay for the entire event, the flexibility boosts accessibility and allows for participation around busy schedules. Lunch is included!
The Leadership Day presents a valuable opportunity for students and staff to engage in professional and personal development centered on emotionally intelligent and inclusive leadership. From this event, attendees will learn how to build stronger professional relationships, create more inclusive and supportive environments, make better decisions under high stress, foster higher team performance and morale, and increase collaboration among a team.
For anyone interested in attending, they must fill out this form before October 10th.
