    Dear UConn Community,
UConn Veterans & Military Programs and Student Health and Wellness are proud to host a special live screening of the powerful documentary Beautifully Broken.
    📅 Date: Monday, October 6
    🕕 Time: 6:00 PM
📍 Location: Student Union Theater, 2110 Hillside Road, Storrs, CT 06269-3008
Directed by Daniel Herzog, Beautifully Broken follows Jared Buchanan, the son of an East Hartford police officer who died by suicide, as he embarks on a global journey of healing through ultra-endurance running. Fueled by his father’s final request—“Make my death an issue”—Jared runs to confront trauma, break the stigma around mental health, and prove that from the depths of grief, purpose can rise. Following the screening, we invite you to stay for an engaging Q&A session with Director Daniel Herzog and the film’s main character, Jared Buchanan.
