Sean Vasington has been appointed as the permanent Executive Director of University Planning, Design & Construction. Vasington has served as Interim Executive Director for the past five months, providing steady leadership and guiding critical campus planning and capital projects with excellence. He brings a deep understanding of the University's mission and a long history of service and commitment to our campus community. Vasington will continue serving as the University’s Landscape Architect and Director of Site Planning.
He completed his landscape architectural studies at UConn in 1999 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2000. He holds landscape architectural registration in Connecticut as certified by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) and is a member of the American Society of Architects (ASLA), the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), and the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
