Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a program that provides part-time employment opportunities to eligible students, helping them offset educational expenses. Students may gain valuable knowledge, skills, and experience that can be beneficial after graduation.
FWS students must secure a job and work to earn their award; wages are paid bi-weekly via paycheck. Please note that Federal Work-Study funds are not applied directly to the University fee bill.
Students who were offered Federal Work-Study for the 2025–2026 academic year must:
Accept their offer by Friday, August 1, 2025
Secure a job by Friday, September 19, 2025
It is important to inform your employer that you have a Federal Work-Study award. Failure to secure a job by the deadline will result in the cancellation of your Work-Study offer.
