Volunteer Opportunities

  • Apply to join the Math Motivators Executive Board

Math Motivators is a volunteer-driven tutoring initiative by The Actuarial Foundation, dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap in math education for students in grades 5–12. The program pairs underserved students with professional actuaries and college students proficient in mathematics, providing free, high-quality tutoring in subjects ranging from pre-Algebra to AP Calculus. Additionally, Math Motivators offers specialized preparation for the math sections of the SAT and ACT exams.

To expand its reach, Math Motivators established the National Virtual Tutoring Center, delivering personalized, one-on-one online tutoring sessions. This virtual platform ensures that students nationwide, regardless of location, have access to consistent and effective math support. By focusing on both in-person and virtual instruction, Math Motivators aims to empower students with the skills and confidence needed to excel in mathematics and beyond.
