UConn Fine Arts Student Krista Mitchell Presents Debut Solo Exhibition, Joker Stardust

Krista Mitchell invites you to her debut solo art exhibition, Joker Stardust, at the VAIS Gallery at the University of Connecticut, running from March 27 to March 30, 2025. Her series of mixed media collages investigates the intersection of consumerism, religion, and family histories through retro aesthetics.
The public is warmly invited to attend the opening reception on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 4-6 PM at the VAIS Gallery in the Art Building at UConn, located at 830 Bolton Road, Storrs, CT, 06269. Parking is available in the Downtown Storrs Parking Garage. Copies of Krista’s art book for Joker Stardust will be available for purchase and refreshments will be served.
The exhibition is funded by the generous support of the Presidential Scholars Enrichment Award and culminates a year-long independent study under the guidance of Professor John O’Donnell of the Department of Art and Art History.
