Are you a film buff and would like to learn more about German movies? Learn how to watch movies like a film critic by analyzing and discussing them in the process? Take GERM 1171: The German Film – in person at the Storrs Campus: T Th 2PM-3PM (3 credits).
Did you know that Germany is one of the leading nations in green and sustainable technology? Want to get involved in environmental research projects that protect the planet and spearhead innovation? Take GERM 2400E: The Environment in German Culture and find out about ecological thinking from Ancient Greece to contemporary German politics. A great gateway into our new double major in German Studies and Environmental Studies. Meets in person at the Storrs Campus: T Th 9:30AM-10:45AM (3 credits). Open to sophomores or higher.
