Stay Local and Dig Deeper with Food Systems Reform: Paid, 10-Week, Summer Fellowship in Sustainable Community Food Systems (Up to $4,000 Stipend).
Are you passionate about building local sustainability? If so, please consider this unique opportunity to spend your summer doing hands-on learning about local food systems and community development.
Sustainable Community Foods Systems encourages students to challenge their beliefs, expand their perspectives, and observe and discuss contemporary food systems.
Fellows will work with Connecticut-based food systems organizations on various projects related to food production, environmental best practices, and community engagement. Fellows will be able to select a community partner that aligns with their interests and goals.
This is 10-week long program from May to July. Fellows will commit 20 hours per week with their community partner organization and up to 5 hours per week for learning and reflection. Upon successful completion of the program, fellows will receive a stipend of up to $4,000.
