  • 2/21 Birthday Celebration at the URC - You're Invited

The UConn Recovery Community turned 12 years old last week and you are invited to our Birthday Open House TODAY between the hours of 11:30am and 3:30pm at Cordial Storrs House located at 1332 Storrs Road. We are excited to celebrate with those who know us well, and we are just as excited to share it with anyone who wants to learn more about our Recovery Community and what it has to offer. Please don't let the word "Recovery" throw you off. We do primarily support students living with addiction to substances, but we also support recovery from other types of addictions. We also honor multiple pathways recognizing that abstinence is one way to do it, but not the only way. And you don't even need to identify as being in recovery to use our services. We believe you are in recovery when you say you are in recovery, as you define it. So if you have ever wondered what goes on in that old, little yellow house on Storrs Road, come on by to wish us "Happy Birthday", grab a homemade sugar cookie (traditional or vegan) and take a fun photo in our Birthday Photo Booth!
