Here at Music Mentors, you can:
🎵 Volunteer at local schools and after-school programs on and off campus, showing off your instrument and facilitating engaging musical activities for kids from grades 1-8. Transportation is provided!
🎵Collaborate with different organizations including HuskyTHON, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Natchaug Elementary School to ignite kids' passions for music!
🎵 Take part in engaging music workshops and jam sessions, where you can teach and learn from fellow UConn students.
Music Mentors welcomes students from ALL majors, regardless of your musical ability, who are passionate about music education and want to teach kids about music. You don't need to have a deep knowledge of music; you just need to know basic music concepts!
