  • Participants Needed for L2 Chinese Speaking Study

    Effects of Task Complexity and Foreign Language Anxiety on Chinese as a Foreign Language Learners’ Speech Production

    This research (IRB # H24-0393) study aims to explore how task complexity and foreign language anxiety impact Chinese foreign language learners’ speech production. 

    Requirements:

    Completed at least one year of Chinese study at UConn OR three years of Chinese study experience

    NOT a heritage learner

    What You’ll Do:

    1.     Two speaking tasks

    2.     An anxiety survey

    3.     A proficiency test

    Total: 40 minutes, one single visit

    What You’ll Get:
