- Are you looking for meaningful ways to contribute to sustainability at UConn?
- Do you aspire to live in a vibrant, supportive community?
- Do you thrive in hands-on learning environments and enjoy spending time outdoors?
If so, UConn’s Spring Valley Student Farm (SVSF) might be the perfect opportunity for you!
Just 5 miles from the Storrs campus, SVSF is now accepting applications for reduced-cost student housing for Fall 2025. As a student farmer, you’ll become part of a close-knit community, gain experience in sustainable agriculture, and grow fresh produce for UConn Dining Services. This opportunity is open to full-time UConn undergraduate students of all majors, with acceptance contingent on a housing offer from Residential Life.
Housing Details: Residents contribute 10 hours of farm work each week in exchange for reduced housing costs. Applications are due January 27th by 5 PM, so don’t wait! Learn more and apply here.
