Are you searching for meaningful ways to engage in sustainability at UConn?

Do you dream of living in a vibrant, supportive community?

Do you enjoy hands-on learning and spending time outdoors?

If so, UConn's Spring Valley Student Farm (SVSF) could be the perfect fit for you!

Located just 5 miles from the Storrs campus, SVSF is now accepting applications for reduced-cost student housing for Fall 2025. As a student farmer, you’ll live in a close-knit community, learn sustainable farming practices, and help grow fresh produce for Dining Services. This opportunity is open to full-time UConn undergraduate students of any major, and acceptance is contingent upon a housing offer from Residential Life.

Housing Details: Residents commit to 10 hours of farm work per week in exchange for reduced housing costs. Applications are due by January 27th at 5 PM, so apply soon! Find more details and the application here.

We can’t wait to see you there!
