Join us for an impactful weekend with Alternative Breaks, a service-learning immersion program focused on housing security from April 11-13, 2025, in New Bedford, MA. Alternative Breaks offers unique opportunities for students to support communities while learning about critical social issues and preparing for lifelong social action.
This program will provide hands-on service at local homeless shelters and soup kitchens, giving participants a deeper understanding of housing insecurity and its effects on the community. You'll connect with new people, learn valuable skills, and make a difference while living simply and meaningfully off-campus.
Don't miss this chance to grow, serve, and advocate for housing security! Please use this link to apply by Thanksgiving! Check out the UConn Alternative Break Website for information on our 9 other programs!
