UConn's Global Training and Development Institute (GTDI) invites you to attend project presentations from participants in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI)!
During the month of October, UConn GTDI has hosted 26 college student leaders from Southeast Asia at the Storrs campus to participate in a five-week program to learn about social entrepreneurship and economic development. The participants later apply the skills learned in the program to address a specific need in their home communities.
YSEALI is a diplomatic effort by the U.S. State Department and is part of the Obama Administration's signature international academic program: https://asean.usmission.gov/yseali/. The YSEALI participants who are here at UConn hail from 11 Southeast Asian nations: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
We hope to see you there!
