Please join the School of Nursing for a special viewing of the documentary by SHIFT Films - Everybody's Work - Healing What Hurts Us All on Monday, November 4th from 5-7pm. The viewing will be held in the Student Union Theater and followed by a discussion and Q&A. We encourage you to attend in person and be part of the conversation.
“Everybody’s Work” examines the hidden disease plaguing healthcare in the United States: structural racism. Through the lens of fearless nurses, this documentary not only exposes the biases that result in worse healthcare outcomes for people of color, but it captures the painful impact they have — both on patients and nurses. While this film was created by nurses, racism affects everyone and as the title reads, this is "Everybody's Work".
No cost to attend. Must register in advance. Register here.
We look forward to seeing you, sharing this significant film, and discussing how we can work together to make change.
