The UConn Urban Semester program is now accepting applications for the Spring 2025 cohort.
Since 1968, the UConn Urban Semester program has offered a semester-long, 27.5 hour/week intensive internship program.
Accepted Urban Semester students complete a public service internship, typically at a non-profit organization or government agency. The program is a full 15 credit semester. UConn grants 9 semester credit hours for the internship. Urban Semester students link their internship experiences with social science theories in two 3 credit seminars.
Additional information about Urban Semester is available through links on the UConn Urban Semester website: https://urbansemester.uconn.edu.
Applications will be accepted through November 15, but priority placements will be given to those who submit by November 1.
