Are you interested in international medical volunteering? If so, the UConn Bridge to Guanin alternative break is the opportunity for you! Join us for a 10-day alternative break in the Dominican Republic held over the winter intersession. During this trip you'll immerse yourself in hands-on healthcare experiences including triaging patients entirely in Spanish (no prior language experience needed!), observing surgeries in a maternity and children’s hospital, and running mobile health clinics in the rural community of La Piedra.
