  • Your Email and Files are in Microsoft 365

    All UConn Students
Your email, calendar, and files are in Microsoft 365. You’ll use Outlook email and calendaring, and your files are stored in OneDrive. If you’re new to Microsoft, check out how to get started.

    Returning UConn Students
A copy of your files and emails are now in Microsoft 365.

    • Google Drive files have been moved to OneDrive.
    • Emails were migrated to Outlook.

    What should you do now?
Your UConn Google account will be closed and the data within it deleted 60 days after your migration ended. The ITS Google Migration team sent you an email with the date your account will close. For most students, this will happen in August.

Until your account is deleted, you have access to view and move the files in your Google account. Use this time to:

    1. Verify that your Google Drive and Gmail data made the move to Microsoft 365.
    2. Export files saved in the other Google apps. Data in some of the apps, like Google Photos and Maps, were not moved by ITS.
    3. If you used your UConn Google account to log in to apps and services (e.g., Spotify or Pokémon Go), you need to change how you log in.
