Welcome to Ecoposium, UConn!
Established in 2022, we are Ecoposium, UConn, a passionate team of students that organizes UConn's first and only student-led environmental symposium! Our year-long planning efforts culminate in our annual, weekend-long Ecoposium every spring, focusing on a variety of topics. Past guest speakers have presented on the following topics: Biodiversity and Wildlife Conservation, Marine and Land Conservation, Climate Refugees, Global Environmental Perspectives, Sustainable Urban Development, and Environmental Health and Justice.
We are seeking new members of our team; while we are application-based, all students are welcome as we can use all the help we can get! See below for the description of each position.
PR Director - manages the Ecoposium Instagram page, develops all related marketing materials (e.g., flyers, posts), design and acquire all merchandise
Session Directors - assigned to one of two symposium session topics, conducts all outreach and communications for recruiting prospective guest speakers
