What is Plant Futures, UConn?
Plant Futures is a student-led community network based at universities that is broadly focused on accelerating the transition to plant-based food systems at the intersection of social justice, public health and environmental sustainability. We are part of the greater mission to bring about a more ethical, sustainable, healthy, accessible, culturally appropriate, and efficient plant-based food system.
We are currently looking for individuals that would be interested in serving as an Events Director for the 2024-2025 academic year. The primary responsibilities will be to help organize, plan, and manage events including food outings, discussions, career events, and community-building social events.
