  • 6/6 Pop up Farm Fresh Market

    Pop up market on Thursday, June 6th from 11:30am-1:30pm on Fairfield Way (near the library)! Make sure to stop by and check out some early crops and seedlings from Spring Valley Student Farm. There will also be fresh baked breads and desserts from UConn Bakery! If there is inclement weather, the market may move indoors to the lower level of the Student Union. Farm Fresh Market will officially kick off their season on July 11th (open every Thursday through October). 

    At the pop-up Market...

    UConn Bakery will have...

    • Coconut Macaroons
    • Focaccia Bread
    • Some gluten free desserts
    • and more!

    Spring Valley will have..

    • Produce: lettuce, herbs, and a few bouquets.
    • Seedlings: range of tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, squash, pumpkins, flowers, herbs, etc. Many of the varieties are heirloom or regionally adapted.
    • Games to play: Weeds ID and Seed trivia

    Open to all.
