Join alumni from the 1974 Black student sit-in at the Archives & Special Collections Monday, April 15th in the Dodd Center for Human Rights. This event will include an exhibition viewing of Please Respond Personally: Commemorating the 1974 Black Student Sit-In followed by a discussion with student organizers Gary King ('74) and Rodney Bass ('75) to help mark the 50th anniversary of this historic event.
Light refreshments will be served, and please bring a donation item of clothing or toilitries being collected by the African American Cultural Center for a program to assist a village in the Congo.
