Please join the Office of Research & Scholarship and Scholars in Aging we host virtual guest speaker Dr. Ernest Gonzales on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Dr. Gonzales will present “Promoting a Long, Healthy, and Productive Life for Everyone: Opportunities in the 21st Century.” This event is all virtual.
Ernest Gonzales is NYU’s James Weldon Johnson Professor of Social Work, Associate Professor of Social Work, Director of the MSW Program, and Director of The Center for Health and Aging Innovation at NYU Silver School of Social Work. He is a scholar in the areas of productive aging (employment, volunteering, and caregiving), equity, discrimination, intergenerational scholarship, and social policy. His research advances our understanding of social structures that optimize the ability to live a long, healthy, and meaningful life.
