April 1st 6:30 - 8 pm at the Student Union 218 (next to USG). Every school year, students at the University of Connecticut have faced housing insecurity challenges. Faced with challenges Justin Guinta is coming to share his journey as an undergrad facing housing insecurity at UConn. Working multiple jobs to cover the costs, still Justin is dissatisfied with the system. Demystifying the myth that college students can’t be housing insecure. During this event we will hold an open conversation with Justin along with Kim a experienced Residence Hall Director, as he shares his story to students in the public that may be facing this situation or students who want to get involved and care deeply about the issue. Food will be provided!
